FAQs & PAYMENT PLANS

Will my insurance cover sessions?

  • At this time, I'm considered in-network for many major insurance providers, such as: Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, some BlueCross BlueShield-State based plans, & others.

    • For out-of-network services payment will be collected at time of service with a superbill upon request to submit to your insurance.

      • Depending on your insurance, you MAY obtain full to partial reimbursement.

  • To check if you have in-network or out-of-network nutrition benefits, set up a FREE Discovery Call with me & I will provide you with a personalized preauthorization handout to help you decipher your insurance benefits.

If my insurance does not cover sessions, can we still work together?

  • Of course! My pricing is as follows:

    • Initial Session (60-75 minutes): $150-180

    • Follow-Up Sessions (45-60 minutes): $135-160

    • Package of 1 initial + 3 follow-up sessions: $535

    • Package of 4 follow-up sessions: $500

What do sessions with you look like?

  • Initial sessions are typically 75-90minutes.

  • During our initial session we will discuss your past medical history, relationship with food, overall goals & review pertinent information based on what brings you in.

  • We collaborate and create a individualized plan of care including manageable goals, recipes, etc.

  • Always feel free to ask your dietitian questions or let them know about any concerns that you have during your appointment.

Can we meet virtually?

  • Yes! All sessions are currently virtual using a HIPPA compliant Telehealth platform.

How often will we meet?

  • You should expect to have a follow-up appointment. Diet and lifestyle changes are a gradual process and learning new information and skills can take time. A follow-up appointment is generally shorter than your initial session, and costs less than an initial appointment. We can decide on the number of appointments that you need and when they should be.

  • Follow up sessions are typically 30-45 minutes. This is when we discuss how goals from our previous session went, discuss any successes and barriers you faced, potentially discuss new nutrition topics, and set new goals for going forward.
